Venus, which has been retrograde since mid-May, goes direct today and Saturn which has been retrograde in Venus-ruled Libra also recently went direct. What this indicates is that you can begin to make progress with Venus ruled matters (romance, beauty, the arts, luxury goods). Now you can update your wardrobe, dye your hair some crazy new color, redo your boudoir, or have that nip and tuck without too much fear of buyer’s remorse. However, you should keep in mind that things won’t get completely back to normal until the beginning of August, which is when Venus crosses the degree at which it went retrograde. For those with Taurus or Libra Sun, Moon, or Ascendant, pretty soon you will be feeling like your old self again and you can begin to make progress with stalled personal projects.

Venus, the planet of love, will be in retrograde from May 15th - June 27th. When a planet is in retrograde it’s energy tends to be wild and erratic. With Venus ruling romantic relationships, this is not an ideal time to begin a new relationship, to get engaged, or to marry. After Mercury and Venus enter Taurus on Monday you will have to put up or shut up. Mere words alone aren’t likely to get you over when Taurus is running the show!
